Is Grok available in Russia? How to use Elon Musk's AI in 2026
xAI's Grok isn't built for users in Russia: sign-up may ask for a foreign number and Russian cards fail. How to use Grok from Russia and what you need.
Quick fix. Grok needs a foreign address and a stable connection. Get Surok in Telegram: 3 days free.
Grok is xAI's assistant on grok.com, in mobile apps and inside X. From Russia, sign-up often asks for a foreign phone number, Russian cards are declined, some features are region-locked, and X itself is blocked.
To use it: turn on a VPN with a European or US exit and check your IP, sign in on grok.com with Google, Apple or X, get the app from another country's store if needed (avoid "Grok in Russian" downloads from random sites), and stick to one country. Paid features (SuperGrok, X Premium) need a foreign card. Third-party aggregators offer Grok models for rubles but aren't official. See also ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini.
