Quick fix. A service closed to Russia needs another country's account and a VPN. Get Surok in Telegram: 3 days free.

From 1 April 2026 Apple stopped processing payments in Russia for the App Store and Apple services including Apple Music, Apple TV+ and iCloud+, and mobile-account top-ups were closed too. Apple Music renews only while your Apple ID balance lasts; then the subscription is cancelled. Purchased iTunes music stays, and iCloud+ data isn't deleted.

Options: spend the remaining balance, switch to another country's account with its own payment method (cancel subscriptions and spend the balance first), or use another service — see Spotify in Russia. A VPN isn't needed to listen on a Russian account; the problem is payment. See also App Store not working in Russia.
